We are not HR, company culture, organization design, teamwork or coaching specialists (though we study their work). Sometimes these specialist are needed when the challenges are big, or the problems are disruptive. We have a very strong network of these professionals who we endorse and refer to help our clients. Objective & Key Result (OKR) Planning
Google and many tech companies will attribute much of their sustained growth and success to the use OKR's as a management technique to translate strategy and priorities into action and results. We have worked with SMART goals, MBOs and Balance Scorecards in our past. However, we believe OKRs are the most effective, yet simple and low-overhead planning methods any company can implement. OKRs can and should be tailored to your unique company priorities and culture.

We will help you design, implement, and guide you through the OKR process so that within 6-9 months (2-3 OKR cycles) your team will have developed the habit and rhythm of executing on your most important goals.

Player Coach
What is a Player Coach? A player coach is a professional who is in the game, is a seasoned practitioner of the game, and is focused on the team success. Within this context, the Player Coach helps team members improve specific and situational skills, grow their knowledge of the game, and be effective teammates.

This describes the type of coaching we offer your leaders and teams it is intentionally differentiated from personal or individual coaching. The ultimate goals is to help your leaders perform better and help your entire business team win. We are an active player in Saas, Digital and online businesses game, and we love developing people.

You will get some of the Player-Coach benefits simply as a bi-product of engaging us on a strategic or tactical project. However, if you team is young and needs to mature quickly, or if you team is more mature but slow to embrace change or growth, we can scope a very focused Player-Coach engagement. We work with the CEO (and other leadership) to identify the players to coach, desired behaviors, opportunities for development and criteria for success. We then work with the individuals on a personalized plan and feedback loop. we work to create a safe, open and honest environment at every level. One key difference, however, is that we will summarize back to the CEO insights from the individual sessions that specifically relate to team performance and company results.

Workshop & Meeting Facilitation
Sometimes you need an independent person to help facilitate your most important company conversations. Those conversations can range from business strategy, to solving cross functional problems, to dealing with broken team dynamics.

We are excellent facilitators in that we marry the right meetings structure with interpersonal skills to create emotional safety and engagement to get the right out comes. We also leverage our domain and operational experience, not to contribute content, but to ensure the most important aspects of the matter at hand are addressed and that key assumptions are tested.

When facilitating meetings we start with company leadership to define the meeting objectives and desired outcomes, identify the participants and the team dynamics. We then select the right meeting format, design the agenda, assign pre-reqs (if needed). We conduct the meetings, document the findings and define follow-on commitments.
